Favorite Book
American Wolf by Nate Blakeslee is one of my favorite books of all time. It combines an intriguing glimpse into the "personal lives" of Yellowstone wolves with an important discussion of conservation policy. Never did I think a non-fiction book about wolves would make me ugly cry.

What's your secret skill or something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I've been rock climbing for a decade and served as President of the Texas A&M Climbing Team. My favorite place to climb is Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site in El Paso, Texas. It's the perfect combination of my two loves- great climbing and archaeology!

What do you enjoy most about Sandia Prep?
I love how Sandia Prep empowers students (and teachers!) to follow their passions, even if it's not a traditional high school subject.
