This individual will work under the direction of the Facilities Coordinator to maintain secure and well-functioning buildings and grounds. The Maintenance Technician will provide project support for facilities construction/maintenance projects. Candidates for this position will have excellent communication skills, be well-organized, and be able to receive direction and work independently. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors, contractors, and all school departments is required. Responsibilities Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships with all administration, faculty, staff, students, and guests of Sandia Preparatory School Adhere to building and equipment maintenance schedules Contribute to the planning and scheduling of daily work assignments Check classrooms, offices, devices, structures, and systems on a regular basis and identify needs for repairs Comply with health and safety regulations; meet all health and safety standards Occasional evening or weekend work for events or time-sensitive projects.
