Favorite Book
One of my favorite books is "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. It is beautifully written and a timeless story set in a bygone era with interesting characters who could very well be experiencing life with us today.

What's your secret skill or something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I'm a dual-citizen of the USA and Chile because I'm a Peace Corps "baby." My parents met when my dad was a Peace Corps volunteer in the late 1960s. Probably because of this, I have great interest in all things international and have traveled to nearly thirty countries.

How do you like to spend your downtime?
I enjoy exploring new neighborhoods, driving along backroads, trying new recipes, and, most of all, planting trees. My #1 hobby is planting trees.

What do you enjoy most about Sandia Prep?
This school has a close-knit community and a genuine focus on working with students as individuals to achieve their goals.

Anything else you would like to add?
If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
