Summer is a time to have fun, get creative, make new friends, and explore intriguing activities! SummerPrep offers an array of activities to stimulate children’s imagination and keep them happy, busy, and learning. From studying dynamite dinosaurs to exploring enchanting literature, our Playing & Learning classes provide plenty of opportunities to make this summer the best one yet!

After Care

The regular day at SummerPrep begins at 8:30 a.m. (theater classes begin at 8:00 a.m.) and ends at 3:30 p.m. After Care, available for an additional cost, extends the camper’s day until as late as 5:45 p.m. The After Care program includes a snack and has separate areas for students to participate in games, activities, and indoor sports. Campers must be picked up by 5:45 p.m. If parents are late to pick up campers, an additional late pick-up fee will apply ($5 per minute after 5:45 p.m.).
Prices are for one full week; prorating is not available.
Grades: K - 8

Tuition: $65 per week

Before Care

The regular day at SummerPrep begins at 8:30 a.m. (theater classes begin at 8:00 a.m.) and ends at 3:30 p.m. Before Care, available for an additional cost, extends the student’s day to as early as 7:30 a.m. Before Care helps campers get settled in the morning and ready for their classes.

Dino Dig

Ever wonder why a Triceratops had horns or why a T-Rex had such tiny arms? Then enter the world of the prehistoric, learn about beasts of the past, and become a paleontologist-in-training.
Grades: K - 2

Time: Periods 2 or 3

Laugh And Learn

A perennial favorite class for younger campers! Discover the world through your senses and explore curiosities with water and sand tables. Become authors and illustrators and develop as artists with watercolors, easel paints, and clay. Celebrate each session with a beach party. All this, plus reading stories and spending time outside doing what kids do best: PLAY!

My First Lemonade Stand

Learn how to make sweet and tangy lemonade – and make money by selling it! Experiment with recipes, design flyers, learn how to count money, make change, and tally your profits. Then, in a showcase finale event, launch your lemonade stand and sell, sell, sell, and raise funds for a charity campers select!

NEW! My First Food Truck

Calling all future foodies and entrepreneurs! Dream up your very own food truck theme, create menus, and figure out the perfect prices for your tasty treats. Learn how to plan expenses, make a budget, and even design a business plan with cool marketing ideas. You'll explore how to raise money for your truck and discover what it takes to turn your ideas into reality.

NEW! My First Passport

Explore different countries, play geography games, and discover famous landmarks and world currencies. Learn about global events and the role of organizations like the United Nations. Step into the shoes of a diplomat as you work with fellow campers to solve big challenges like hunger, poverty, and pollution. This class will help you build a global mindset and become a world explorer.

NEW! My First Piggy Bank

Earn, save, spend, donate! Through fun math games and hands-on activities, you’ll learn all about earning, saving, spending, and giving. Discover how to budget, save for what you want, and even explore how donating to help others makes a difference. Plus, you’ll get to craft your very own piggy bank to take home.

Tiny Tots

Get an early start to preschool and kindergarten! Tiny Tots will enhance their math and literacy skills as well as participate in fun music, dance, and art activities. In an environment geared toward growth through hands-on learning, Tiny Tots learn how to express themselves.
Open to campers ages 3 - 5. Campers must be potty trained. Please bring an extra change of clothes to be left in the Tiny Tots classroom.
Options: All Day = Seven-period class / Morning = Four-period class / Afternoon = Three-period class
Grades: PreK - K (Ages 3 - 5)
